Description: The structure-contour map of the altitude of the base of the combined Chase, Council Grove, and Admire Groups was created from the correlation of geologic logs across the study area. The Chase, Council Grove, and Admire Groups are composed of cross-bedded, fine-grained sandstone, shale, and thin limestone. The three groups are stratigraphically below the Wellington Formation. The thickness of these groups range from 570 to 940 feet with a median of 745 feet.
